The new thru-hole version joins the existing surface-mount connector to provide a low-profile solution suited for use in PCB-based LED strings, lighting controls and other nonlighting applications that can benefit from an easy poke-in wire termination to the PCB.

A new range of highly stable and reliable metal oxide resistors is capable of withstanding high power in a small package. New RR series resistors are ideal for pulse applications in adverse conditions and are available in three different sizes with power ratings of 1, 2 and 3W for a voltage range from 350 up to 750 volts.

The new high-power terminal block from Tyco Electronics provides high-current capacity of up to 125 A and 1000 V in a compact board-mounting configuration. Available in two through eight positions, the modular construction offers a 15-mm pitch to allow both factory and field wiring to bring high currents to printed circuit boards.
